Through the advancement of modern technology and science, human life expectancy and its quality of life has improved measurably. Combustible cigarettes, however, remain the most preventable cause of death causing more than eight (8) million tobacco-related deaths per year. How is it that our communities have yet to resolve this stain on modern society? Simply put, the consumers are still prey to addiction strategies employed by Big Tobacco.
For the past decade or so, “E-cigarettes” were invented, outside of Big Tobacco’s influence, to replace combustible cigarettes. E-cigarettes are considered better alternatives because they do not contain the levels of tar, carbon monoxide and other carcinogenic chemicals added to traditional cigarettes. Nicotine is not a carcinogen; however, nicotine derived from tobacco plants are contaminated with Tobacco-specific nitrosamines (TSNAs), which are carcinogenic and one of the leading causes for tobacco-related illness.
Since 2013, our company, NextEra Co., Inc. has made significant investment with Next Generation Labs to present an alternative to harmful tobacco-derived nicotine. Our patented synthetic nicotine is not derived from the tobacco plant and is therefore not contaminated with TSNA’s. Our patented technologies allows for nicotine devoid of TSNA’s at an affordable cost, nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) and pure USP-grade nicotine which provides a satisfying experience at less addictive levels, as shown through initial studies between the (R)-&(S)-isomers of nicotine.
In addition to a cleaner alternative to nicotine, our company adheres to the best global industry standards through research and partnerships to prohibit harmful ingredients in e-liquids, such as diketones (Diacetyl, Acetoin, Acetyl Propionyl). Not to forget, all of our products are GSMC tested at a certified laboratory for Aldehyde emissions (Formaldehyde, Acetaldehyde, Acrolein) to ensure these carcinogens are kept in check. In comparison to some e-liquid products in the Korean market, our laboratory results show ours to be 400x lower in select carcinogens. The public needs to be educated in what they are consuming and not turn a blind eye to their health.
Despite statements from Big Tobacco trying to shift away from traditional cigarettes, their continued dependance on tobacco plants ensure that their products will always be contaminated with TSNA’s, the major cause of tobacco-related illnesses.
